About Agerus
Agerus is a Swedish research and development company that has conceptualised verksamhetsskap® and developed its methodology. Through research, systems, AI support, training and consulting support, we help organisations put the approach into practice in everyday work.
Why Agerus exists
Agerus' work starts from the premise that performance, wellbeing and development need to be considered together.
When people have the right conditions to succeed in their purpose, the organisation's ability to deliver results over time is strengthened as well. Verksamhetsskap® describes this organisational capability: organising work around purpose, people's conditions for performance and dialogue in everyday work.
Agerus develops the knowledge, method and support that enable organisations to build this capability systematically and over time.

The research behind our work
Agerus has grown out of working-life research into performance, self-leadership, empowerment and sustainable working life.
The foundation was established through research by Associate Professor Pär Pettersson, together with Professor Ingemar Torbiörn and others at Stockholm University. Collaboration has since also been established with researchers at Kristianstad University.
Studies of performance and the conditions people need to succeed sustainably.
Over time, the knowledge has been validated, expanded and developed through continued research and practical application.
The research findings have been translated into models, questions, digital tools and ways of working for organisations' everyday work.
What is needed
The research has mapped the factors that need to be present in the work situation for people to perform. When these conditions are strengthened, strong performance becomes more likely, while self-leadership, wellbeing, motivation and enjoyment at work can grow.
How it can be achieved
Together with the researchers, Agerus has turned the development process into a practical method. It captures both what is needed and how the organisation can move forward with support from systems, dialogue and practical application.
