The method behind the analysis

Analysing the whole of Verksamhetsskap® reveals the patterns

Organisations often have data on engagement, the work environment, leadership and results. The Organisational Analysis helps management see how these elements connect with the purpose and with people’s actual conditions for success.

A low score in one part of the organisation may stem from an unclear purpose. Another may be linked to insufficient mandate, weak interaction within the team or a communication climate that restricts shared dialogue about the work.

When the perspectives are analysed together, it becomes possible to see where the purpose is clear, where conditions are lacking, where teams have the capacity to develop and where management needs to act.

An organisation cannot develop everything at once. The Organisational Analysis helps management see what is most critical to understand, prioritise and act on.

Product FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Organisational Analysis

Open a question to read the answer.

How does Organisational Analysis differ from an employee survey?

The employee survey focuses on revealing whether people and teams have the right conditions for sustainable performance. The Organisational Analysis is broader and more strategic. It measures Verksamhetsskap® in its entirety and is analysed by Agerus as a basis for decision-making by the management team.

What does the Organisational Analysis measure?

The Organisational Analysis measures the Purpose, the Individual’s conditions, the Team’s conditions and the communication climate. This means it captures the individual’s ability to perform, the team’s social conditions and the organisation’s ability to create clarity and dialogue around the purpose.

What are the Individual’s conditions?

The Individual’s conditions are Want, Know, Can, May and Should: whether people feel motivated, have the right information, have the necessary competence, have the mandate to act and feel responsible for their purpose.

What are the Team’s conditions?

The Team’s conditions concern the fundamental human needs within the team: to Belong, Contribute, Be Recognised and Develop. When these needs are met, the team’s interaction, ownership and ability to perform together are strengthened.

Who is Organisational Analysis suitable for?

The Organisational Analysis is suitable for organisations that want a strategic view of their current performance culture. It is particularly relevant before major development initiatives, organisational change, cultural transformation or management work, or when the organisation wants to understand why performance, engagement or interaction vary across different parts of the organisation.

Can the Organisational Analysis be conducted in part of an organisation?

Yes. The Organisational Analysis can be conducted across the entire organisation or within a defined part, such as a division, public administration, region, business unit or function.

What does the management team receive?

The management team receives feedback from Agerus, including analysis, key insights and recommended actions. The focus is on what the organisation needs to understand and do to strengthen sustainable performance.

What happens after the feedback?

After the feedback, the organisation can move forward with initiatives such as Purpose Dialogue, pulse surveys, workshops, leadership development, consulting support or targeted development programmes. The Organisational Analysis shows where the work should begin.
